BACK AT WORK
The holiday is over for me, but it's like working in a ghost town.
This is the second week of the University of Arizona closure, which was instituted many years ago to save a couple of weeks of electricity and operating expenses.
While that's all fine and dandy, some department on campus, like AZPM, have to be here...regardless of the academic restrictions. Of course, that means no place on campus to get food, overflowing trash cans and a general lack of anything to do with maintenance. It also means lots of parking, which is a rarity most days.
We'll do our best to keep things going, but since it's still a holiday week for some, we won't work as hard. While the on-air staff and a few others are here, many of our departments are off until Monday and as I write this the email system is down too, but you can still write me and hope it all gets cached until someone shows up to restart our mail computer, which is hidden in a secret area of the AZPM empire.
